SUP Lessons

Group lessons

  • Are offered for 2-6 people at a time.

  • The inner harbor lesson, apprx 30 mins, is $45/person. Recommended for those that have paddle some, but need some further instruction.

  • The Open Water lesson, apprx 90 mins, is $65/person. Recommended for beginners.

  • Prices include rental equipment, instruction and accompanying instructor/Guide.

  • Reservations required.

  • BEAUFORT PADDLE SUP RENTAL POLICY: To rent a paddle board from Beaufort Paddle, you must be experienced or take a lesson from us. If you are experienced, you will need to come to our facility and pass a proficiency test. As part of this test, you will have to demonstrate a safe fall. You will get wet. Pass or fail is entirely at our discretion. This policy is in place for your safety, always our number one concern. No exceptions. Let us know when you’d like to schedule a test or a lesson.

  • NOTE: We can hold classes anytime during business hours, but please call ahead to make a reservation. Mornings are always better.

Private Lessons

  • $150 per person

  • Price includes equipment, instruction and accompanying instructor.

  • Private lessons require reservation.

Kayak Lessons 

  • Included with every rental is basic instruction on its proper use and safety.

  • For more advanced instruction please call ahead to, and we’ll be happy to schedule private instruction.
